Private Villa in Doha

This private villa in Doha is designed by a French architect with Moroccan and Baroque influences. The villa features a global array of materials in complex applications, including handmade marble mosaics with intricate patterns, solid elements in linear and organic shapes framing internal openings and custom-designed solid panels made from 5 to 8 materials per room.

Decorative listellos and large waterjet flooring elements add to the design, while ornate marble staircases enhance the villa’s elegance. In wet areas, marbles, semi-precious stones, onyx and alabaster are used for cladding.

Despite the challenges with onyx, we ensured vein continuity by precise cutting.

The project’s greatest difficulty was covering 2,000 square meters and crafting 30 decorative columns and arches from rare Grey Italian Travertino. This process required 200 cubic meters of raw material, with only 83 cubic meters being used, making this the most expensive part of the project.
